Myrrh & Frankincense Balm

This rich luxurious balm combines the power of two incredible tree resins – frankincense and myrrh. These resins have been revered since ancient times as very powerful healers, encouraging purification and regeneration of the skin. They are among some of the oldest aromatics known to man. Myrrh has incredible properties attributed to its bitterness – it is an effective purifier, antiseptic and is slightly astringent. Frankincense works by invigorating and uplifting while being calming. These resins are two of our favourite ingredients because they are so useful and versatile. This super rich balm can be used for a whole host of things – we’ve listed some of our favourite uses below to give you some ideas:

• Super Rich Intensive Face Treatment: If you have very dry, damaged or mature skin this works brilliantly as an intensive treatment to rejuvenate, heal and purify your skin.

• Caring Balm: Apply to marked, impoverished skin.

• Aromatic Rub: Frankincense is renowned for its calming and clearing effect on the respiratory system. Both resins are fantastic decongestants.

Directions for use

• Apply to a clean fingertip and massage well into the skin as often as required. This is a rich balm and a little goes a long way.

• When to apply: Balms and salves are often most effective if applied before a nights sleep, giving the balm plenty of time to penetrate the skin.
